POSHAN MAAH 2020- INTER-UNIVERSITY NUTRITIONAL AIDS MAKING COMPETITION
The Department of Dietetics and Applied Nutrition, Amity Medical School, organized an Inter-University Nutrition Aid making competition on the eve of National Nutrition Month. The theme of the competition was “Awareness about Malnutrition for First 1000 days” and it was organized on 18th September 2020.
The students had to prepare nutrition aids on the given theme and presented it in front of the judge and the audience. Dr. Arushi Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health was invited to evaluate the participants. Also, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sinha, Director, Amity Medical School awarded the winners of the competition and motivate students to work hard and actively participate in the events.
The objective of the event was to make students learn about nutrition aid as a method to spread awareness among the masses. Students were asked to prepare nutrition aid on the theme “Awareness about Malnutrition for First 1000 days” and present it during the competition.
The first position was bagged by Simran Kakkar from B.Sc. DAN V semester. The second position was shared by Suyasha and Kriti Bhardwaj from B.Sc. DAN V semester. Mahima Grace Lal bagged the third Position
