Amity Skill Club and Law Wale Society students with Ms. Sarita Kataria, Inspector, Narcotics Control Bureau

Legal Aid Cell of Amity Law School, Amity University Haryana (AUH) organised an Awareness Session on Drug Abuse. The session was conducted by Narcotics Control Bureau to make the students understand the ill-effects of Drug Abuse and also, make them ambassadors of spreading awareness regarding the same in the society. The session was addressed by Ms. Sarita Kataria, Inspector, Narcotics Control Bureau.
 
The Session started with a PANTOMIME, presented by the students of Amity Skill Club and Law Wale Society. The students depicted the ill-effects of consuming drugs and such substances and delivered a message that individual efforts are required to remove Drug Abuse that is corrupting the young minds of present generation.

During the lecture, Ms. Sarita Kataria discussed about different types of drugs, the reasons behind consumption of drugs, people falling prey to drugs, effects of drugs on youth, physical symptoms and behavioural symptoms of drugs consumption, social, legal and economic costs associated with drug abuse.
