Amity Institute of Pharmacy Organised Webinar on How Pharma Industry Gearing up to fight with COVID-19 Pandemic. Total 60 Students and 10 faculties attended the webinar.

The main objective of the event is to impart learning and Knowledge of COVID-19 and what is the current scenario of Drug Development for this disease.

Dr. Hemanth Kumar Manikyam, Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited,  General Manager- Research & Development talked about about the origin and development of this COVID-19 disease and how it affects human body and how does the virus works inside body. He further elaborated about the drugs which are in pipeline for the treatment of this disease. How Drug discovery can help eradicating this disease.
