An Expert Talk on “Creating Meaningful Digital Experiences Through UX/UI Design” by ASFA on 6th August 2026. The aim of the expert talk was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry insights by introducing students to the fundamentals of UX/UI design.

The session aimed to develop an understanding of user-centred design and highlight the importance of creativity, empathy, usability, visual design, and problem-solving in creating meaningful digital experiences. It also sought to familiarise students with emerging trends, professional practices, and career opportunities in the field of digital product design while encouraging them to apply UX/UI principles to real-world projects.

The expert talk delivered by Ms. Richa Vatsala, Co-founder of De Tali and White Light Films, provided students with valuable insights into UX/UI design and its practical applications in the digital design industry. Through her presentation and professional experiences, she highlighted the significance of user-centric thinking, creativity, empathy, and problem-solving in developing effective digital products. The interactive session encouraged students to engage actively through questions and discussions and helped them understand the relationship between usability, visual design, and user satisfaction.
