An Expert Talk by Mr KK Yadav for Orientation 2026 was organised by ASAP on 6th August 2026. The expert talk by Ar. K.K. Yadav, Retired Chief Town Planner, Government of Haryana, provided newly admitted students with valuable insights into the professional scope and practical realities of architecture, interior design, and urban planning.
The aim of the expert talk was to familiarise newly admitted students with the diverse career opportunities and professional responsibilities in architecture, interior design, and urban planning. The session aimed to provide students with insights into professional practice, contemporary challenges, and the evolving role of design professionals in shaping cities and communities. It also sought to encourage students to reflect on their personal aspirations and long-term career goals while understanding the interdisciplinary nature of the built environment professions.
Drawing upon his extensive experience in public-sector planning and urban development, Ar. Yadav discussed contemporary challenges and the evolving responsibilities of design professionals in shaping cities and communities. The interactive session broadened students’ understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of these professions and motivated them to reflect on their aspirations and future career goals.
