A workshop was organised by CoE-ACOAST, ACESH, and ACAPC on “Focused Discussion on the MoU Between ACOAST, India and ISPTEC, Luanda-Angola, Southern Africa” on 1 and 2 July 2024, to discuss and update the progress made by the project partners from both countries.
The aim of the workshop was to facilitate collaboration and advance joint research initiatives between ACOAST-AUH, India, and ISPTEC-ANU, Angola, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. The workshop focused on three principal objectives: the submission of a joint manuscript titled "Production of Water-Absorbing Microporous Matrix to Enhance Plant Growth”, Environments: Transboundary Air Exchange, and Climate Change" for submission to a suitable funding agency.
The workshop successfully facilitated collaboration and advanced joint research initiatives between ACOAST-AUH, India, and ISPTEC-ANU, Angola. All three principal objectives were discussed in detail, leading to common consensuses and actionable plans. The participants made significant progress on the submission of the joint manuscript on enhancing plant growth through biostimulants, the joint research proposal on medicinal compounds in local flora and fauna, and the full research proposal on spatiotemporal variations in air pollution.
