Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP), Amity University Gurugram organized one day programme on World Schizophrenia Day 23rd May, 2023at Earth Saviour Foundation, Bandhwari, Gurugram.
The basic concepts of schizophrenia were discussed which included history of schizophrenia, Etiology, prevalence, delusion, hallucination, Theories of schizophrenia, Acute Psychotic Disorder, Schizoaffective disorder CBT in psychosis, Behaviour Therapyand Parental intervention.
Dr. Mustafa Nadeem Kirmani(Associate Professor), Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed(Assistant Professor, M. Phil Clinical Psychology trainees, PDCP trainees, employees from ESF and patients participated in the program.
The emphasis was on developing the attitude to spread awareness in the community.
