A Guest lecture on “MNCs & Economic Development: Emerging Issues” was organised by Amity College of Commerce, ACC on 6th February 2025. , the event aimed to address key issues such as taxation policies, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility.
The event aimed to explore the growing influence of multinational corporations (MNCs) in shaping global economies, particularly in emerging markets. It sought to examine both the opportunities and challenges presented by MNCs, including their role in economic growth, innovation, foreign investments, and their impact on local industries, employment, and sustainable development.
The event successfully provided participants with valuable insights into the role of MNCs in economic development and their broader implications for global and national economies. Through expert discussions and interactive sessions, attendees gained a deeper understanding of international business dynamics, regulatory challenges, and ethical considerations.
