The online orientation began with the full energy and enthusiasm in the morning at 9:30 AM by registration and the welcome note was addressed by Prof.(Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Sinha, HOI, Amity Medical School.
Department of MLT was introduced by Dr. M Vijaya Simha, HOD of MLT and event was coordinated by Dr. Vikram Singh with the presence of other faculty and staff of MLT department.The topics covered in the orientation program were Registration in Amizone and overview of LMS, Medical Lab Facility inside and outside campus, Clinical Training in DLPL and Modern Diagnostic Lab, Placement and Student Achievement with Interaction with Alumni, Overview of Community Services by MLT department in Campus such as Health Checkup and Blood donation camps, Overview of Industrial Exposures-IV & Guest lectures organizes by MLT department, Course structure of UG/ PG program, Syllabus- Foreign Language, Open Electives, Examination- Marks distribution, Internship – 2months Summer & 6 months Last sem of Course, time table and interaction with students to encourage and motivate them to proceed ahead in their opted programs.
The main objective of the event was to create an open platform to interact with faculty, alumni and senior students and update students with various job opportunities in the field of their profession.
