On August 23, 2022, Amity University Gurugram, Amity Innovation Incubator (AII), Gurugram, and MeityStartup hosted the World Entrepreneur's Day session on “Entrepreneurial Opportunities”.The keynote speaker was Dr. Sukhapal Singh, Professor and Former Chairperson of CMA, IIM, Ahemadabad, along with Mr. Syed Asif Iqbal, Head of Product and Strategy, Lawyered, and Mr. Vijayveer Singh, Innovation Incubator Head, Amity, NO Dr. Ranjana Kothari, Faculty Coordinator, AII, Gurugram, and Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Madhukar, PVC, Amity Gurugram, served as the session's hosts.

The Corporate Connect Session (CCS) is an interactive feature of ABS, MBA and its Innovation and Incubation Centre programmes. It aims to keep management students aligned and engaged with their academic and industry integration. This special CC/Expert talk session is conducted in the Auditorium, well equipped for IT-based delivery systems. According to Dr. Vikas Madhukar, India is ranked 78th out of 138 nations on the global entrepreneurship index. According to him, India ranks third in the world, behind China and the United States, with 72,000 start-ups now registered and 108 unicorns. This is caused by a lack of capital, risk acceptability, and ecosystem integration for entrepreneurship, and the Innovation Incubator may close this gap.

Prof. Sukhpal Singh's keynote address focused on the importance of agriculture entrepreneurship and said that anybody, including farmers, craftsmen, and agricultural labourers, may launch a business. With an average farm size of 24 acres, multicropping (such as sugarcane, maize, and cauliflower), franchising, placing a strong emphasis on marketing channels, irrigation, horticulture, and animals, farmers may generate great riches.

The discussion became animated when Mr. Sahil Pruthi, the startup owner of Keto India and Livofy, the supplier of health solutions and also a participant in the Shark Tank series; and Ms. Sonal Shukla, the startup owner of Livofy, told their success story overcoming all the challenges. Finally, Mr. Rishabh Chhillar and Mr. Tanmay Goswami, owners of Prosper.com, who provide AI-based proven HR and Hiring solutions. ECONSCIOUS deals with plastic trash and utilises it in an environmentally beneficial manner.

The discussion was also addressed and concluded by Mr. Syed Asif Iqbal and Mr. Vijayveer Singh, who emphasised the value and importance of incubator centres for fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.

This event was centred on the employment chances, which are further improved by practical business expertise, especially for agriculture-based systems. Students' potential for employment in businesses was improved by their increased understanding of the process of entrepreneurship development, particularly in agriculture-based industries. Students now have the necessary skills for entrepreneurial development together with knowledge-based inputs for agricultural systems, which improves their employment prospects in businesses based on agriculture and food processing. Students have expressed interest in research projects focused on agristart-ups and the growth of entrepreneurship. It was suggested to the students that they base their research papers on the growth of agri-startups and entrepreneurship. The ideas and procedures for evaluating agriculture-based entrepreneurial systems and, based on that, creating research projects, have been taught to students.

Students acquired knowledge through summer training and dissertation projects focused on start-ups incorporating agriculture-based systems and entrepreneurial development. The summer training plan will probably be carried out in a top-notch framework with insights into entrepreneurial development, especially for agriculture-based systems, along with dissertation work. The method of creating entrepreneurial projects based on agricultural systems and agribusinesses has been taught to students, and their understanding of it will allow them successfully complete their summer training and dissertation report
