Health Mela 2019 was organised by SARAJ GROUP and including other foundations to like medanta , avsar etc on 20th august 2019 . Firstly rally was organised by saaraj group members.

The saaraj group made a whole team including doctors , dentists, nurses , audiologist , optometrist Into this health mela. We the B.Sc Nursing V Sem (2017-21 Batch) students of amity college of nursing, Amity university gurugram harayana went to the HEALTH MELA at Community center ,Mianwali Colony Sector 12 ,Gurugram . There was a contribution of 3 departmaents ie,

1.  Amity college of Nursing

2.  Amity chool of Optometry 3.Amity school of Audiology

We have given our contribution and represented our department AMITY COLLEGE OF NURSING into the health mela event as we did health checkups and provided consultation to the local people who attended the event .

CONTRIBUTION GIVEN BY ACON DEPARTMENT :

·         Checked blood pressure.

·         Measured body weight and height.

·         Calculated BMI.

·         provided consultation and health education regarding their health problems.

The main objective of the event was to promote health care among the people. We really got to learn a new experience. We had an excellent experience with all the certified health care members and there was a team spirit in our group as every member was compassionate about their work & put all their efforts into their work.
