Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP), Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon organized  one day Virtual online programme by the name of Suicide Among Celebrities , 19^th June, 2020  Dr. Mustafa Nadeem Kirmani(Associate Professor), Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed(Assistant Professor) the faculties of AICP and M. Phil Clinical Psychology trainees participated in the program. Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed was the coordinator of the program. The session covered celebrities committed suicide in Bollywood, hollywood and the television industry, etiology, disorders experienced by celebrities like sleep, BPAD, depression, schizophrenia and alcohol addiction. The session also highlighted the coping strategies to deal with such issues by respective clients in the society. Moreover, trainees done the role play to simulate the issues faced by celebrity attempted for suicide. The programme also highlighted the strategies for early identification and prevention of suicide issues in the community. The current situation was discussed in the light of social psychological perspective. The prevention strategies like sensitization and psychoeducation were discussed. The programme emphasized the role of practical and service oriented aspects in community.
