Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP), Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon  organized one day Mental Health promotional program on 12, July 2019 at Earth Savors, Bandhwadi Village, Gurgaon. Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed and Dr. Mustafa Nadeem Kirmani the faculties of AICP along with M.Phil Clinical Psychology trainee participated in the program. Dr. Mehfooz Ahmad was the coordinator of the program. The community members were sensitized about the causes and the consequences of honking behavior. Honking does not only increase the noise pollution in urban areas but also causes road rage which is increasing day by day. Low level of frustration tolerance, driving with the ear plug, alcohol addiction and poor life skills exaggerated the honking behavior. The community members should understand the triggers of honking leading to road rage and prevent them. The programme emphasized the need to discourage honking for improving mental health in the society.
