Amity School of Languages, AUH participated in "Online Poetry Recitation (A. S.  competition "Pushkin's Poems in World Languages" organized Centre of Russian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi on 6th June 2020 on the occasion of 221st Birth Anniversary of Poet Aleksandr Pushkin, the father of modern Russian language & literature and 75th Anniversary of the "Victory Day". 6th June is celebrated as International Russian Language Day all the world every year.

It was an international competition. in which participated Pushkin State Institute of Russian language, Moscow and 12 most reputed Indian universities and institutes of the Russian language. Pushkin Day is annually celebrated in Russia on June 6. It is a well known fact that his poems have been translated into almost all the languages of the world and they are studied and recited with great enthusiasm.

5. Dr. Neelakshi Suryanarayan, University of Delhi, Delhi

6. Ms. Tatyana Perova, Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi

 JNU, DU, AMU, Mumbai University, Gauhati University were some of the other universities which participated in the competition

Riya Bansal, Isha Garg from B.Sc Physics, 2nd Seme and Priyanka Vayali from B.Sc Forensic Science, 2nd Sem recited poems in Russian, which was liked by all other organisers. They were praised for their Russian language training, knowledge and hard work for possessing good pronunciation, the flow of language and the rhyme of words. Students are studying the Russian Language as their elective subject under the Choice Based credit system.
