Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology organised a guest lecture on 20th November 2024. or students aspiring to work in export houses or the garment manufacturing sector, the session emphasized the importance of accurate cost estimation, particularly when garments are sold directly to end consumers.
The aim of the session was to outline the fundamental elements of a cost sheet for garments and describe the methods used to price garments at various stages of production. By providing insights into the cost dynamics, the session aimed to equip attendees with practical knowledge essential for managing apparel and textile operations.
