A Competition by ASH on 22nd October 2024
Amity School of Hospitality organised a Cooking Competition to Celebrate International Chef Day on 22nd October 2024. This reinforced ASH's commitment to cultivating future culinary professionals by providing hands-on learning experiences that celebrate innovation and excellence in the culinary arts.
The Cooking Competition aimed to inspire and nurture the culinary creativity of Amity School of Hospitality students. By encouraging participants to prepare innovative, delicious, and visually appealing dishes, the event sought to enhance their practical skills in food production while fostering teamwork and a passion for gastronomy.
The competition was a resounding success, with students demonstrating remarkable culinary talent and creativity in crafting dishes like dora cake, Mughlai paratha with aloo sabzi, laphing, and imarti-rabdi. Judged on taste, presentation, innovation, hygiene, and time management, the event highlighted the importance of balancing skill and creativity.
