Society Outreach Program by AICP on 10th October 2024
Society Outreach Program was organised by Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology on 10th October 2024. The aim was to provide psychoeducation to a rural village community.
The program focused on addressing learning and studying difficulties among students, as well as managing stress and anxiety for adults. By offering practical strategies for coping with daily stressors, discussing substance use and dependence, and promoting mental well-being, the initiative aimed to foster a healthier community and encourage individuals to seek help for mental health issues.
The community program successfully raised awareness about various mental health challenges faced by community members, highlighting the significance of psychoeducation in promoting mental well-being. Through engaging discussions and practical strategies shared by the trainees, participants gained valuable insights into stress management, substance abuse recognition, and the importance of seeking help.
