Campus Bird Count by ASEES on 16th February, 2024
Amity School of Earth & Environmental Science organised a field event on Bird Count on 16 February, 2024, to enlighten students about the significance of the Campus Bird Count and to underscore the effects of climate change on bird migration.
The Rajendra's aim was to familiarize students with the Campus Bird Count, emphasizing its importance in gathering data on bird migration patterns amidst climate change. The challenges birds face due to habitat loss and altered migration schedules were highlighted along with, stressing the role of ornithologists in mitigating these issues through data collection and analysis.
In conclusion, this provided valuable insights into the significance of the Campus Bird Count and the impact of climate change on bird migration patterns. The event served to educate students about the critical role ornithologists play in understanding and addressing the effects of climate change on avian populations.
