Amity School of Liberal Arts, Amity University Gurugram organised a mindfulness activity session titled “Music, Mantra and Meditation”, on 22nd September, 2023. The event was held as part of the larger Innovation Week celebration, highlighting the university's commitment to holistic well-being, creativity, and innovative approaches to education and personal growth. The event was been coordinated by Dr Shradhnavita Singh and Dr Supriya Sanju.
The event highlighted the profound impact of combining mantras and music to create a harmonious and elevated state of consciousness, promoting stress relief and overall well-being. Participants were encouraged to immerse themselves in the practice and getting lost in the synchrony of body, breath, movement, music, and sound. The event also featured the Sapt Chakra Meditation technique, which involves the alignment and activation of the seven energy centers (chakras) within the body. A total of 24 students and 10 faculty members participated in the event.
In conclusion, the event offered participants a serene journey of consciousness, encouraging relaxation, creativity, and a deeper connection to the self. By exploring the synergy between mantras, music, and meditation, participants found a unique and harmonious path to stress relief and personal development.
