Amity Medical School organised International Webinar on Ketosis as a treatment for a number of Metabolic Disease on 19th November 2021.The objective of the event was to make students learn about the how ketosis or ketogenic diet play an important role in the treatment for various metabolic Disease. The students were to acknowledge the experience and use of  ketogenic diet while treating various diseased patients.

The webinar started at 7:30PM IST & 3:00PM Central Europe Time through online mode and all the faculties and most of students of the Amity Medical School could join the event successfully. Dr Raffaele Pilla, started his talk by giving an introduction about the Nutritional Ketosis and their role in helping to cure the patients suffering from various metabolic and neurodegenerative disease.He discussed positive effects of ketosis/ketogenic diet on Weight loss, Alzheimer?s disease, Parkinson?s disease and Traumatic brain injury etc. and many case study were also discussed in the webinar by Dr RaffaellePilla. In the end students and faculties raised many queries related to the topic and they were answered by Dr RaffaellePilla.

The event was successful and the students gained knowledge and cleared all their doubts related to Ketosis or ketogenic diet.
