Amity College of Commerce organised a student activity on “Culinary Creations: Cooking without fire competition”, on 18 October 2024. The event aimed to build students' confidence in the kitchen and inspire them to make thoughtful food choices, combining creativity, health, and collaboration in an enjoyable and educational experience.
The aim of the event was to empower students with the knowledge and creativity to prepare healthy, nutritious meals using simple, no-cook techniques. By eliminating the use of fire, the event encouraged participants to think outside the box and explore fresh, wholesome ingredients that contribute to healthy eating habits.
In conclusion, the event successfully fostered creativity and encouraged students to approach food preparation from a new perspective. It not only instilled nutritional awareness but also emphasized the importance of food safety and choosing the right ingredients for a balanced diet. The competition helped students develop practical skills like teamwork, communication, and time management, as they worked individually or in teams to create, present, and explain their dishes.
