A Guest Lecture by ACON on October 14, 2024
Amity College of Nursing organised a guest lecture on “Basic Life support: Essential skills for saving Lives”, on October 14, 2024. The workshop aimed to prepare individuals to handle emergencies like cardiac arrest, choking, and other life-threatening incidents with efficiency.
The aim of the Basic Life Support (BLS) training workshop was to provide participants with essential hands-on skills in life-saving techniques such as CPR, the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED), and effective airway management. The goal was to ensure that participants were equipped to respond confidently and competently during medical emergencies.
In conclusion, the workshop not only increased participants' confidence in emergency response but also raised awareness about the critical importance of BLS skills. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among healthcare providers, students, and trainers, the workshop created a community-focused environment aimed at improving overall health outcomes
