 Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Sciences organised an Academic Visit to Sector- 14, Civil Hospital Mortuary, Gurugram, on 2^nd May, 2024. Students of BSc (Hon) Forensic Science (4 th SEM) and MSc Forensic Science (2^nd sem ) participated in the event under the guidance and instructions of Dr Bhuvnesh & Dr. Leena.

The aim of the visit was to observe autopsy incisions and to understand how cases are ruled out as suicide or homicide. By observing the various internal organs that have evidentiary value, students  were provided with an unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of forensic science and pathology.

In conclusion, the academic visit provided an immersive and enlightening experience, offering participants a firsthand glimpse into the fascinating world of forensic pathology and the quest to uncover the truth behind the mysteries of death.
