 The ever-increasing demand for emergency care is a global phenomenon. Doctors, Nurses and paramedics across the world face differing but significant challenges in delivering timely emergency care. Emergency care is becoming increasingly complex and this national conference has offered a unique opportunity to the physicians, nurses, paramedics and trauma care professionals from around the country to network and share innovative ideas and practices designed to optimise patient care. The conference has attracted delegates from numerous organizations, which enriched the context allowing sharing with, and learning from, each other.

The two day program has witnessed thought provoking keynote and plenary presentations from experts in the field of Nursing and Healthcare, highlighting the theme, “Emergency and trauma Nursing ".

The conference’s first day featured panels on Trauma Nursing, Nursing in Neurological Emergency, Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, Patient Safety & Health Care and concluded with poster presentations. The second day began with resplendent workshop stations on BLS, ECG, Neurological examination, primary and secondary survey and concluded with the sessions on poisoning and cardiac emergencies.

Brief about the address/talk of speakers 

The third national conference of Amity college of Nursing embarked with the registration and floral welcome of Dr.P.B.Sharma, greeted renowned speakers, delegates and all students gathered in conference. Dr. Tamil selvi, HOI, ACON, AUH unveiled the theme of National conference Emergency and Trauma Nursing and wished for the great success.

Dr. Devendra Richhariya : Delivered a lecture on the management of trauma patient. He covered his educative lecture through an active discussion and implementable examples.

Ms. Rosemary: She has given a lecture on nursing Management of trauma patients. Her session was very informative. She attracted the attention of audiences by incorporating the factual content. 

Panel Discussion Speakers: Chairperson- Dr. A. Tamilselvi, Panelists - Ms. Josephine Cyrill, Maj. Gen. Praveen Kumar Sharma and Ms. Harneetpal Kaur had presented their effective talk using brainstorming discussion and unified innovative ideas.

Dr. Daisy Thomas: Gave lecture on management of Respiratory Emergencies. She gave some good examples and appeared to be comfortable. It was appreciated that she was an academic who is conversant and proficient speaker.

Dr. Tamil Selvi A: Gave talk on Nursing Management of Respiratory Emergencies. She grabbed the attention of the audience with her resplendent charisma and fascinated the audience by sharing her recondite knowledge. She completely engaged audience with her enthusiasm and passion.

 

 

During the end of First day session, Scientific Paper presentation and Poster Presentations were taken place from various delegates and it was evaluated by a panel of Judges.

 

 

 

 

On 2nd Day

On second day 4 parallel sessions were organised as a part of workshop in different lecture theatres and labs of Amity college of nursing. 

1.      Workshop on Primary and secondary survey by Dr. L. Gopichandran , Faculty, College of nursing AIIMS and Ms. Sonia, Senior Nursing officer, ATCN instructor, AIIMS.

2.      Workshop on Basic Life Support by Dr. Poonam, Faculty, College of Nursing AIIMS and Mr. Neeraj, Nursing officer, AIIMS

3.      Workshop on Neurological examination by Ms. Amandeep Kaur, Ms. Harneetpal Kaur and Ms. Shikha, Teaching Faculties, ACON, AUH.

4.      Workshop on ECG by Ms. Dainy Thomas, Coordinator Inservice education AIIMS and Ms. Ankita, Nursing officer Cardiac care unit, AIIMS

After the successful completion of workshop, the event has geared up to closing ceremony with some more lectures and valedictory sessions

Dr. L.Gopichandran : He gave a session on management of cardiac emergencies. He clasped the interest of audience by incorporating real life situations to impart his erudite lore.

Ms. Parul Saini: She has enlighten about the nursing management of cardiac emergencies. Her session was explanatory and provided deep learning to the audience.

Dr. Madhvi Verma: Gave lecture on management of common poisoning. Her class was electrifying, and her large audience was fully engaged, and content was both factual and inspirational.

Dr. Bhartender Sharma: He presented a session on Nursing Management of common poisoning. His session was very educative and dynamic.

Ms. Amandeep Kaur : Delivered a talk on Management of Neurological Emergencies. She drew upon her deep knowledge, innate energy, and fascinating slides to bring the room to life and leave valuable takeaways for all.

 

 

At the end, 2 days report was read by Dr. Bharatendra Sharma, Associate Professor, ACON, AUH, Dr. Tamil Selvi. A HOI, ACON, AUH, welcomed all the delegates and guests to the valedictory ceremony. later valedictory session was started with the blessings and motivating words of Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Padmakali Banerjee followed by vote of thanks was given by Ms. Amandeep Kaur, A.P, ACON, AUH to all eminent speakers, delegates and entire organising team of ACON.
