Amity Medical School, Department of Optometry & Vision Science, organized webinar on General Eye Health on the occasion of “World Optometry Day” on 28th march 2021.
The main aim of the webinar was to raise awareness of the impact of eye conditions and vision impairment and the need to address gaps in data, particularly regarding met and unmet eye care needs.
Ms. Gitanjali Astha explains about the Common Eye Problems and their solutions in their presentation to the students and Mr. Khemraj talks about the Benefits of contact lenses bursting Myths of Contact Lens use.
And Mr. Bhupesh, Ms. Ruchika, Ms.Sunanda Sarkhe, Ms.Tamina Chakarborty, Ms. Sana Gul, from the same industry spoke on various topics like, Ultra violet Rays -implications on eyes and Right ways to protect our eyes, Myopia Progression and ways to control, Tips for keeping your eyes Healthy, : Increasing Digital eye strain and its prevention.
Total 110 students and 4 faculties participated in the webinar.
