Amity School of Architecture and Planning organized an interactive lecture series for Architecture and Planning students 24th September 2020. The lecture was on “Travel and Built Environment – Perceptions & Learning” delivered by Ar. Lena Gupta Associate Dean, International Practice in Habitat Design, of Design Village, Noida. Total 30 Students attended the session.

The main objective of the lecture was to introduce the students about how to perceive architecture and built environment around the world when you are travelling. You are on vacation but your architecture conscious always analysis-built environment. The lecture gave emphasis on enhancing of habitat and health for architectural space. It also brings the notice in front of student to accept and see the changes or upgrading them self with modern technology yet balance with culture values.

Ar. Lena Gupta is an Associate Dean, International Practice in Habitat Design of Design Village, Noida. She has been doggedly striving to align the industry and the design education system, she is connected with the ‘Rain Centre’ in Chennai and has illustrated and edited, ‘Self Reliance in Water-A Manual for Urban Dwellers’ in 2008. She is the Principal Architect at ‘Dehleez’ and has successfully delivered over 400 projects of varied scales and typologies.
