    The temples are also more of a religious and social institution. However more than scientific methods to run a temple, rigorous ritualistic process are established and those who manage the temples pursue the 3P’s mostly- fondness, favour and fear. fondness by faith believers; favour to power, fear of god’s wrath. Most critical aspects pertaining to the Kamakhya temple is the development challenges around the temple and challenges posed to old narratives by the emerging new narratives.
