Controller of Examinations

Controller of Examinations shall exercise powers and perform duties as specified in the Ordinance/Regulations.

Subject to the superintendence of the Examination Committee, and Examination Sub-Committees, he shall conduct all the examinations of the University and shall make all other arrangements thereof and be responsible for the due execution of all processes connected therewith.
He shall be ex-officio Member Secretary of the Examination Committee and such other Committee(s) as may be constituted by the University, but he shall not, by virtue of this sub-section, be entitled to vote. He shall be bound to place before such Committee(s) all such information as may be necessary for transaction of its business.
He shall be responsible for the due custody of the records pertaining to evaluation, examinations and related activities.
He shall collect information from the Departments/ Constituent Units of the University, as may be necessary, for the discharge of his duties.
He shall also perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the Guidelines for Conduct of Examinations and Evaluation of Students Performance from time to time, by the Executive Council or Academic Council or other authorities of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor.
