Ms. Jaishree Chauhan, Vice President, Amity Finishing School, extended her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, a great visionary leader, under whose mentorship and guidance Amity Finishing School is nurturing future leaders who will contribute to nation-building. Deliberating upon the topic, “Beyond the Crown: Building Character and Confidence”, Ms. Radhika Singhal, Miss Universe Uttarakhand, shared her transformational journey from a young girl with dreams to becoming a crown holder through persistence, discipline, and inner work. She emphasized how mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping her confidence, and how failures became her stepping stones towards success. Her story of resilience and self-image building struck a deep chord with the students, motivating them to believe that true beauty radiates from character and confidence.
Deliberating upon the topic, “Campus to Corporate: Mastering Presence, Communication & Emotional Intelligence” International Emotional Intelligence, Etiquette & Image Expert, Dr. Taylor Elizabeth Perramond”, averred, “No technology can teach soft skills or emotional skills. Being self-aware, keeping your consciousness awake and maintaining restraint and patience, helps you to become a good professional.” She guided students through three essential mindset shifts that build confidence, shared 10 practical tools for consistency, and introduced a 7-day challenge to cultivate a polished presence. Blending global expertise with relatable strategies, her session bridged the gap between campus life and corporate readiness, empowering students to step into the professional world with confidence, poise, and emotional intelligence.
Deliberating upon the topic, “Winning Within: Lessons from the Ramp to Real Life” Mr. Lakkshey Dedha, Mr. India, Youngest Crowned at Age 19, shared his inspirational journey of overcoming childhood insecurities and inferiority complexes. His talk reflected his belief that mindset, confidence, and character outweigh stereotypes of “perfect” looks or bodies. By embracing his natural strengths, especially his gift of communication, he turned vulnerabilities into assets and went on to win hearts as well as the coveted Mr. India title. His approachable style made students connect instantly, leaving the audience both inspired and charmed.
