 The Department of Dietetics & Applied Nutrition at AMS, Amity University Haryana, organized a community visit to the NGO, Chetna for a Nutrition and Health Awareness Program, on 22 February, 2024. The main objective of the visit was to become acquainted with the workings and services of the NGO.

The purpose was to raise awareness about protein energy malnutrition, hygiene, anaemia, physical activity, swast bhojan, and sukhi Jeevan among street-connected children. The students engaged with the children through interactive activities, educating them on various health-related topics. The visit highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing community health challenges and promoting societal well-being.

In conclusion, the visit allowed students and faculty to raise awareness about important health topics among street-connected children. The dedication of CHETNA NGO in providing education and meals to underprivileged children was commendable, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts for societal well-being.
