Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Science organised an Industrial Visit on January 31, 2024. The main purpose of this visit was to educate students about the functioning of instrumentation and the processing of data derived from the initial steps.

The industrial visit aimed to educate students about pharmaceutical instrumentation and data processing. They learned about synthesizing APIs to replicate existing drugs and explored various machinery for crucial steps like DSC, TGA, and purity analysis. Supervised by Dr. Dipti Vaya and Dr. Manish Shandilya, students gained insights into instruments like LC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, enhancing their understanding for future careers.

In conclusion, the visit offered students valuable insights into pharmaceutical instrumentation and drug development processes. They gained practical knowledge about synthesizing APIs and utilizing various machinery for quality analysis. This experience enriched their understanding of pharmaceutical science and equipped them with skills essential for their future careers in the industry.
