This was followed by a welcome address by Prof (Dr) Padmakali Banerjee, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean Academics. Dr Padmakali Banerjee highlighted the importance of staying abreast with the times and technology. She urged the students to realize their full potential and explore the environment for better learning.

Congratulating the students, Vice- Chancellor, Prof (Dr) P B Sharma emphasized that each one of the student sitting in the auditorium must contribute substantially to the cause of building New India. Prof Sharma urged the youngsters to work towards making Mother India proud.

While sharing his inspiring views, the Chancellor, Dr. Aseem Kumar Chauhan stressed on the importance of dreaming big. He also called on the young students to have a mission in life. The honorable Chancellor encouraged the young aspirants to work towards writing their own destiny. 

This year’s guest speaker, Mr. Venky Venkatesh, CEO, Press Trust of India suggested that the students should utilize their time to the fullest during their stay at Amity University so that by the time they graduate from AUH, they are fully prepared for the challenges of the corporate world.

The next guest speaker, Mr Raj Kamal Gupta, HR Director, Dalmia Group advised the young professionals to remember that their association with this august institution is not accidental and thus they should make the best out of the opportunity.
