Prof. (Dr.) A. P. Singh, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, averred, “Law cannot function without adopting a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach since it requires participation from various disciplines such as social and economic disciplines. We need to make our own laws instead of adopting foreign models and consistent efforts are required in this direction.”

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Law & Justice, Legislative Department, opined, “India is known for its diversity and there is a multi-layer decision making system which operates at different levels such as municipal level, state -level and national level and diversity calls for a transdisciplinary approach which is inclusive and rational.”
