Amity Innovation and Design Centre (AIDC), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida organized a Talk by Ms. Aisha Bowe, Ex. NASA Rocket Scientist, Founder and CEO STEMBoard, on the topic “Leadership, R&D, Innovation and Tech Startup Mentorship”.
Addressing the students, Ms. Aisha Bowe, Ex. NASA Rocket Scientist, Founder and CEO STEMBoard, said, “Today there are unlimited opportunities for students in the area of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Each one of us has some unique ideas which can be developed, and one should start by thinking about a problem and then finding its solution. One must create something which people need and like so that you don’t have to work too hard on marketing the product, since there will always be a high demand for such a product. Passion is important to accomplish your goals so work hard with sincerity. Do not think about failure and remain focussed on your goal in order to become successful.”
Responding to a query on how to deal with competition, Ms. Aisha Bowe further added, “Execution is everything when it comes to dealing with competition, one has to develop and formulate strategies and then execute them in a unique manner, which your competition can never think about. It is also important to develop a sense of judgment, and it is better to have a smaller group of trustworthy people to work with rather than a large group of people.”

Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science Technology and Innovation Foundation, stated, “Amity is honoured to host the talk by Ms. Aisha Bowe, who is an expert in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Her views and insights will be highly beneficial for our students. Students must dare to dream big and fulfil their dreams at any cost. The Space Sector is growing at the rate of 15-20% per year and there is no dearth opportunities in this sector. Therefore, students who are interested in this area must have an aim and keep working towards it relentlessly.”
