Amity University organised a workshop Uttar Pradesh on 'Publishing Academic Books' in association with Springer Nature Group, with the aim to give impetus to research and publication by young faculty and scientists.
During the workshop, a book titled “Intelligent IT Solutions for Sustainability in Industry 5.0 Paradigm” (Select Proceedings of International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Leadership, ICEIL- 2023) was released. The content of this edited book focuses on intelligent technology solutions in healthcare & life sciences, agriculture, green energy and education among other domains.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Swati Meherishi, Editorial Director-Applied Sciences & Engineering, Springer Nature Group, mentioned that scientific publishing is changing at a very fast pace and shared the book publishing process with the young participants.
Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh congratulated all those who are in the noble profession of teaching and highlighted the relevance of quality and ethical publishing in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) W. Selvamurthy, President of the Amity Science, Technology & Innovation Foundation encouraged all the scholars and participants to learn and share the art of publishing as teachers play important role in developing a society.

Director (Academics) & Head of Information Technology department, Amity School of Engineering & Technology mentioned that in the process of learning and personal development both teachers and books hold great significance. Also present on the occasion were Dr. B. K. Murthy, Dean - Translational Research & Entrepreneurship Development, Prof. (Dr.) K. M. Soni, Dy. Dean of Engineering & Technology & Incharge PhD Programmes, Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Khatri, Dean (Research, Innovation and Extension Activities Outcome), and Senior Editors from Springer Nature Group.
