Events

The event serves to inaugurate session 2020-21 for the society. The topic and format were attentively selected to engage freshers and new members of the society. The discussion was graced by the presence of our Dean of students’ welfare Major General Gurpal Singh Bal and our Deputy Dean of students’ welfare Dr. Ranjana Kothari. The discussion was judged by Associate Professor, Amity Law School, Ms. Monica Yadav, and Assistant Professor Amity Law School, Ms. Sanjum Bedi. 

After taking the liberty of presenting their individual opinions, the participants had to face questions pivotal not only to the current discussion but the discussions worldwide.Our Dean of students’ welfare, Major General Gurpal Singh Bal asked students to “analyze the participation of women in other forces across the world and the role that perceptions play in professions”. This was followed by global social reform and gender parity based discussion as Dr. Sanjum Bedi asked students “Whether gender discrimination is a root cause of sexual harassment?”
