Amity School of Liberal Arts organized a Workshop on Research Methodology on 13th February 2020. The objective of this workshop was to sensitize the participants on various perspectives of Research and its methods. The workshop was conducted by a seasoned academician and accomplished researcher, Dr. Shradhanvita Singh, Assistant Professor, Amity School of Liberal Arts. As a resource person, Dr. Singh highlighted the functional aspects of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for statistical analysis in social science.

During the session, she demonstrated how to use SPSS, particularly variable view, creating a new data set, Data view, syntax, sampling, scaling, distributions, etc.in research The workshop was interactive, output –oriented and provided the basic understanding of statistical concepts as well as practical tools to analyse quantitative data through SPSS. The participants showed their keen interest in learning the application of SPPS in the empirical research.
