The Amity Centre for Artificial Intelligence is seeking qualified faculty members for positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor levels.

  • Ph.D. (completed/submitted) or M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
  • Experience in teaching or research in core or applied areas of Artificial Intelligence

  • Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of advanced areas in Artificial Intelligence, with a strong focus on deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision. The role requires the ability to develop and train deep learning models across various domains including classification, detection, regression, segmentation, and tracking problems.
  • Proficiency in Python-based AI model development is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate the capability to build neural networks from scratch and work effectively with pre-trained models. Strong expertise in Keras and Tensorflow sequential models is mandatory.
  • Advanced technical proficiency is required in development environments and libraries. This includes expert-level working knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks, Jupyter Lab, and libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, OpenCV, RAPIDS, and GPU-accelerated libraries (cuML/cuDF).
  • Model optimization and sophisticated data handling skills are essential. Candidates must showcase the ability to optimize deep neural networks for various data types including images, videos, text, and time-series data. Experience with data augmentation, annotation, regularization, batch normalization, and hyper-parameter tuning is critical.
  • Server and infrastructure management skills are required. This includes comprehensive experience with Docker, server and workstation user profile management, and hands-on expertise with Linux and Windows operating systems. Candidates should be capable of defining architecture and selecting appropriate runtime components for AI/ML/DL model hosting.
  • Research credentials are paramount. A strong record of peer-reviewed AI publications in SCI-indexed journals, experience in AI-based industrial product development, and demonstrable research project experience in AI domains will be highly valued.

  • Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in cutting-edge AI domains is preferred. This includes expertise in Vision Transformers, Generative Adversarial Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, Reinforcement Learning, Probabilistic Reasoning, Unsupervised Learning, Meta-learning, and Natural Language Processing.
  • Additional technical capabilities that set candidates apart include experience in porting AI models to single-board computers like Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson Nano. Proficiency in integrating sensors for research projects and creating user-friendly GUI/API interfaces for AI/ML models will be viewed favorably.
