This course is designed to establish a solid groundwork in various aspects of microbiology, including the fundamentals, clinical microbiology, food microbiology, environmental microbiology, industrial microbiology, virology, mycology, phycology, and synthetic biology. The program spans a duration of 3 years, along with incorporating research projects in the final year. Moreover, the Department of Microbiology provides alternative pathways, such as the B.Sc. (H) 4-year program with Research, the Integrated B.Sc., and M.Sc. (H) 5-year program.
