Each student is required to submit two anti-ragging affidavits (signed by him/her& his/her parent), go through the Anti-ragging booklet on Amizone, provide acknowledgment of having read the booklet, and then only can get registered for the Programme/Semester.
Each Institution of Amity University forms an ‘Anti-Ragging Committee’ of Head of Institution, Senior Faculty member/s, non-teaching staff, parent’s representative, and students representative to maintain alert vigil at all times and ensure that the Anti-Ragging Squads of the Institutions carry out their functions properly. Anti-Ragging Squads comprise senior faculty members and responsible representatives of senior and fresher students.
The University level Anti-Ragging Monitoring & Execution Cell monitors all Institutional level Committees and ensures that Anti- Ragging Patrols, consisting of Proctors, Campus Marshals & Security Personnel operate 24 hours on all days in the Campus and also in various hostels, lodges, PG accommodation clusters outside the Campus, particularly, where freshers’ are staying. An anti-ragging control room is established which can be contacted 24 x7.
Throughout the campus, Anti-Ragging banner boards are fixed displaying the contact numbers of DSW, Proctors, Nominated Faculty and Control Room.
