“Conversations about change, autonomy and human behaviour” was organised by AIBAS on 11th September 2026. Through an interaction with alumnus Aman Sharma, the session sought to connect theoretical concepts of human behaviour, emotional well-being, resilience, and adaptation with practical experiences in psychological practice.

The session titled “Conversations about Change, Autonomy and Human Behaviour” aimed to provide students with an opportunity to understand how individuals perceive and respond to change, exercise autonomy, and make informed personal and professional decisions. It also aimed to familiarize students with diverse career pathways in clinical, psychiatric, community-based, and young-person mental health services while encouraging self-awareness, empathy, ethical responsibility, and lifelong learning.

The session “Conversations about Change, Autonomy and Human Behaviour” provided students with valuable insights into the role of change, autonomy, and adaptability in personal and professional development. Through Aman Sharma’s professional experiences, students gained a broader understanding of evolving career pathways and the application of psychology across clinical, psychiatric, community, and young-person mental health services. The interaction emphasized the importance of resilience, self-awareness, informed decision-making, and continuous learning in navigating life transitions and professional challenges.
