A Guest Lecture on “Engineering Smart Nanomedicine Towards Personalized Therapy” was organised by AIB on 12th August 2026. The event provided faculty members and students with valuable insights into the emerging field of smart nanomedicine and its role in precision and personalized medicine.
The aim of the event was to provide faculty members and students at CIRF with an updated understanding of smart nanomedicine and its potential applications in personalized therapy. The lecture by Dr. Ruchira, an expert in nanomedicine working at RCB, Faridabad, aimed to familiarize the attendees with the engineering of nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery, metabolic reprogramming, and immunomodulation, particularly in the management of chronic inflammatory conditions, including cancer.
Dr. Ruchira, through her lecture on nanoparticle engineering, explained the potential of smart nanomedicine for targeted drug delivery, metabolic reprogramming, and immunomodulation in chronic inflammatory conditions, including cancer. The interactive session further enhanced the attendees’ understanding of the applications and therapeutic potential of nanomedicine.
