GT Awards: Making a Newspaper Contest

The GT Edition issue dated February 12, 2018 prepared completely by the students of AIS Gurgaon 43, as a part of GT ‘Making a Newspaper’ Contest bagged several awards at the GT Awards 2017-18 function held in Amity University, Noida on August 20, 2018. Divita Mahich (XI) won first prize for Best Illustration; Ria Aggarwal (XII) and Saksham Manaktala (XI) won second prize for Best Fictional Story and Best Imaging respectively. Ankur Banga (XII) won third prize for Best Outstanding Story. The school also bagged the Best Design Award in the ‘school category’ for the year 2017-18.

The function also marked the completion of 10 years of The Global Times. The occasion was celebrated with the presentation of a book ‘Impressions’ which was a compilation of Chairperson’s columns in The Global Times of last 10 years.
