The annual ethical leadership programme, initiated by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, chairperson, Amity Group of Schools under the aegis of The Global Times-Amity’s youth newspaper, aims at grooming students as harbingers of change. Young leaders from across all Amity International Schools work on different social issues by forming teams, researching topics, designing plans of action, generating funds and finally showcasing their work in the form of a presentation at the grand finale.

School YP team‘Sakha’ bagged ‘Best Research Strategy’ award at the 12th and first ever virtual grand finale of Youth Power. The team took to the cause of caring for elderly and how society can help them with love and compassion. They also opened a library in an apartment complex in Kaushambi for creative engagement of senior citizens. The team comprised mentor Shalini Kaushik, leader Vaishnavi Sharma (Class XI), and members Avishi Solanki, Medhavi Jagmohan & Sparsh Rastogi (Class XI). The virtual finale was graced and judged by MsRicha an alumna of IIT Roorkee and former Vice President, Morgan Stanley, now a naturalist, and MsDeeksha Mittra, former media professional and life skill coach.
