Piston craft club organized a one day Workshop session on 19th October for Aeronautical members of Piston craft. Members from both Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) and Amity Institute of Technology (AIT) participated. Mr Anirudh Kohli, Student Head of Drone Team from KLE, addressed the students along with Paras Jain, Coordinator, Piston Craft and Aman Singh, Founder President, Piston Craft. Around 30 students participated in the event.
Knowledge about all India Aeronautical and Aerospace competitions was shared with 1st
and 2nd year students followed by working on the actual models.
Students from both the departments appreciated the organizers for conducting event in a very successful manner and also expressed their gratitude for the valuable knowledge they received from the session. Mr Anirudh Kohli was impressed by the students and proposed further such events with Piston Craft and Amity Institute of Technology.

DESCRIPTION: Piston Craft-A technical club of AIT organised an ‘Introductory Workshop on Racing Vehicle Dynamics’ from 28/02/19 to 1/03/2019 for automobile and racing enthusiasts. The event was organised by AMAN SINGH, SUBIR GARG, ADITYA SHANKAR, SHANTANU BAKSHI from AME 6th semester. The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Arun Kohli, Faculty. Students from various Institutes of Engineering and Technology domain of AUUP participated actively in the activity. In the upcoming months, the club is also planning to conduct workshop sessions on the same topic in a more comprehensive manner at large scale so that students can derive maximum benefit out of it.

A smart automobile workshop was organized by Piston craft from 8th - 10th March'18 during AYF ’2018. The aim of the workshop was to apprise the students on Automobile Industries transition from mechanical components to electric components.
Frist day of the work shopThe product development in companies and the Aerodynamics of a car was explained with the help of cars present at TDBM LAB.
Second day of the work shopThe theory of mechatronics systems used in companies was explained and the various components of automobile at the Cut Section Lab.
On last day of the workshopLearner/ Registrants/ Attendees/ Participants were taught about the future possible power systems to be used in the automobiles i.e. Electric, Hybrid, Fuel cell technologies.
IC ENGINE workshop organized on 9th October '17 was an internal event where members of the club (first year students) were briefed about the types of IC engines and their working.
A visit to the cut section lab was made to give students an insight and deep understanding of engine components and various concepts in more detail.
The main purpose of the session was to make students get their hands on actual working model to create a better link between their concepts of theory with reality.
