Cultural Club
Amity Institute of Technology (AIT) organized a cultural event on the auspicious day of Teacher’s Day on 5th September i.e birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan at E3-LG-10.
The Introductory speech was given by H.O.I. [Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Prakash], giving his thoughts on this day and shared his memories with Dr. Radhakrishnan. H.O.D. [Prof. Vivek Kumar] also gave his thoughts on the Teacher day. This was followed by musical performances by the students of 1st and 2nd year in Automobile and Aeronautical Engineering domain.

Glimpse of Teacher day

Students of second year threw a Fresher’s Party for the new batch of AIT on 5th September 2019 in which seniors welcomed them with performances in music and dance whereas juniors participated in the talent showcase. Fresher’s Party was a much-needed ice breaker for the newcomers as it was an interactive platform giving them the feeling of being with family, a home away from home.
Our Respected HOI Sir, Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Prakash welcomed everyone (with a special mention for freshers) with his inspiring speech. In all, it was a fulfilling day for everyone – newcomers, senior batch students, faculty and staff members.

An Interaction-cum-Farewell Program for the students of 2016-2020 batch was conducted on 23rd January 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The event was preceded by lunch for all the guests at 2:00 PM and the farewell program commenced at 2:45 PM. The program included various dance and music performances by the students of junior batches. Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Prakash, HOI-AIT, showered his blessing upon the students through his message which was followed by messages of the students of the passing-out batch. All faculty members were presented by bouquet of flowers and the students of 2016-2020 batch were felicitated with mementos. The Farewell Program was conducted successfully with cake cutting and refreshments at the end.
Amity Institute of Technology has celebrated 'Matribhasha Diwas' where students of our institute and faculty members participated wholeheartedly. The students from different regions of the country narrated about their culture and religion. Some Students also sing their regional song and it was enjoyed by all the participants and faculty. On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of visionary, dynamic and beloved Chancellor and President, RBEF, Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir on 7th of May, DAY OF BELONGINGNESS is celebrated every year. A panel discussion was organized by the students of Amity Institute of Technology on 27th April 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Topic: “Promoting Sustainable Development, and investing in Scientific Research and Innovation”
The event commenced with a welcome message by Ms. Parush Bamrah (student coordinator) which was followed by the panel discussion. In the panel discussion, each student was given 2 minutes to present his views and perceptions about the topic. Some of the key points discussed are: Sustainable development; benefits of lockdown to the environment; secular economy; implementation of sustainable development; role of engineers/scientists.
Further, Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Prakash, HOI-AIT, appreciated the participants for their views and then shared his views about the topic. Hence, the discussion was concluded with a modification in the topic: “Promoting and Implementing Sustainable Development, and investing in Scientific Research and Innovation”.

Short Description of the Competition – (50 words)
The Event CAD MANIA has been organised by AIT under AYF 2020. The event was based on CAD modelling of different automobile components. The event was inaugurated on 8th May using Google Meet platform. Prof (Dr.) Ravi Prakash, HOI – AIT welcome all the participants, Judges and event coordinators and convey his best wishes to the students. The event was divided into two stages. Stage 1 consists of 20 Minutes Quiz whereas in stage 2, students have to design a CAD model using any appropriate designing software.
