School celebrated 7th International Day of Yoga virtually to inculcate healthy living practices in young minds and adults. Yoga instructor demonstrated ‘Surya Namaskar’ and various asanas like Tadasana, Trikonasana, Halasana, Mandukasana, Balasana, etc., followed by Pranayam like Anulom-Vilom, Bhramari, Bhastrika, Udgeeth, etc. Effect of each of the asanas and pranayam on overall physical and mental health were also discussed. Chief guest Col. B S Ahluwalia (Retd.) shared about the importance of yoga for a healthy life and school principal Ms. Rachna Mishra urged everyone to adopt yoga as a way of life.
