About Industry Interaction Placement Cell, AUJ

Industry Interaction Placement Cell (IIPC) is framed and has been operational right from the inception of Amity University Jharkhand in 2016-17. It has well laid out plans with the full support from our mentors. The experience of Amity as a group is the real advantage to the youth who desire to find a suitable placement opportunity after finishing their graduation or post-graduation from Amity University Jharkhand. IIPC at AMITY UNIVERSITY JHARKHAND is a student driven body, which works under the guidance of Amity Officials. The team is responsible for the holistic development of students’ careers and establishment of strong and sustainable corporate relations keeping the current trends in focus. We aim to increase corporate engagements through various platforms such as guest lectures, corporate interactions, summits, and numerous other confluences.

Industry Interaction Placement Cell - at AUJ, acts as a bridge between the students & the corporates. It creates a platform for students to exhibit their talent and facilitate the process of placement by inviting the industry leaders to campus for conducting the recruitment drive. It is our constant endeavour to maintain good relationship with the industries and invite industry representatives for conducting Seminars, Workshops, and Pre-Placement talks for Educating & Guiding our students about the outside world. IIPC maintains close contact with recruiters throughout the year and conducts numerous workshops on Resume Writing, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews and Sample Aptitude Tests to better prepare our students for job interviews. At Amity, a dedicated IIPC ensures the right placement for each interested & eligible student and everything we do is focused towards this.

Placement Process

Pre-Placements Talk: Pre-Placements Talk (PPT) is an ideal platform for interaction between corporate fraternity and students. The recruiters share their company's vision, work culture and the available opportunities. This is then followed by detailed Q&A session to help the students gain deeper understanding about the organization and role offered.

Application: The interested students then apply to the organization through Industry Interaction and Placement Committee office. As a part of application, they submit their detailed resume which is then shared with the organization by Industry Interaction and Placement Committee Office.

Placement Interview: The recruiter’s shortlist candidates to either go for Aptitude written test or Group Discussion rounds or Personal interview rounds depending on the organization's recruitment policy.

Offers and Acceptance: Once the final interview round is conducted, the company makes a firm offer to the candidate. The offer includes details such as job role, compensation package, location, date of joining and other terms and conditions required.

Objective: For imparting Aptitude Placement training for our Engineering & Management students.

2) ASSOCIATION WITH HERE TECHNOLOGY FOR INDUSTRY PROJECT TRAINING ON 22nd APRIL 2020

Objective: The objective is to provide industrial project training exposure to AUJ students enrolled in MCA, B.Tech. Computer Science and Civil engineering, BCA, and B.Sc. IT program on HERE Map Creator tool based on a collaboration framework ensuring educational and technological exchange.

3) ASSOCIATION WITH PRESS INFORMATION BUREAU RANCHI, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA ON 26th JUNE 2020

Objective: The objective is to associate with Press Information Bureau Ranchi, Government of India for internship and training for our Journalism and Mass communication department students of AUJ.

4) MoU WITH TATA STEEL LTD. ON 21st AUGUST 2020

Objective - To promote interaction between Amity University Jharkhand and Tata Steel in mutually beneficial areas; and to provide a formal basis for initiating interaction between Amity University Jharkhand and Tata Steel through enhancing technical curriculum, up skilling of students, and providing expert consultancy

5) ASSOCIATION / LETTER OF INTENT RECEIVED FROM TATA STEEL FOUNDATION CONFEDERATION OF INDIAN INDUSTRY (CII) MODEL CAREER CENTRE (MCC) ON 12TH OCTOBER 2020

Objective - To offer training, webinars, Proctored Online Assessment services of Model Career Centre and Facilitate Placement Linkage for the eligible & interested Final Year students of AUJ.

6) MOU with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology & Centre for Skilling and Technical Support, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. Of India, Hehal, Ranchi-834005, Jharkhand (here after collectively referred as CIPET-CSTS) ON 16TH SEPTEMBER 2021

Objective - AUJ & CIPET: CSTS are willing to facilitate cooperative activities in academics and research. Cooperative activities may involve programs in areas like Faculty Training, Skill Development Programs, Students Internship, collaborative research etc.

Objective -To associate for Industry Academia Collaboration for Skill Development. Bosch will support in skill entrepreneurship for youth, future human competencies.
