The admission process for PG and UG programs commences from January/February. Application form is available on payment of Rs.1,100.

To apply, one may:

Option 1: Apply online, Upload documents, Pay online (www.amity.edu/ranchi)

Option 2: Download Application Form for offline submission.(www.amity.edu/ranchi)

Option 3: Buy Admission Pack from Amity University Ranchi Campus (from Admission Office).

Form cost will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever.

Only a scanned copy of class X mark-sheet and a recent color passport size photograph is required to be uploaded along with the Application Form. Confirmation about receipt of your form is to be checked on Admission Microsite( www.amity.edu/microsite) .  It usually takes 2-3 working days to process the form.

Admission microsite is an online portal at amity.edu/ranchi .An applicant can check his/her Registration/Selection status by logging into his/ her Admission Microsite with the application form number and the password at regular intervals for all admission related information. No separate communication will be sent in this regard.

Yes, a student may apply provisionally for any course but needs to produce all the original mark sheets/ degrees at the time of Registration/Joining the Program latest by 30th October. The admission stands cancelled if a student fails to complete the documentation process as per the date mentioned.

An applicant can apply to as many programs in Amity as desired but cannot apply for the same program more than once in one admission year.

To apply for different programs at same time , separate form is required against each program.

Incorrectly filled and incomplete forms are rejected. Form once rejected will not be reconsidered and form cost will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever.

Usually the selection procedure comprises of English language test followed by GD / Extempore / Personal interview. Program based written test/creative/physical test is conducted wherever necessary.

The results are intimated to the students through Admission Microsite. A soft copy of the admission letter is uploaded online and no hard copy is issued. Hence a student is advised to keep a regular check on Admission Microsite for all Admission related updates. The Admission Letter contains host of valuable information. Therefore, students are advised to go through the same meticulously and take action accordingly.

An applicant needs to carry all the required marksheets and essential credentials in originals along with copy of admit card.

Admit card can be downloaded from admission microsite after selecting the test/Interview date.

Step 1 – select and confirm the test date updated on microsite.

Step2- Download Interview letter/Admit card.

You are requested to carry the printout of your Interview letter/admit card on the day of selection process and adhere to the reporting time as mentioned in the Interview letter.

Late comers will not be entertained.

You need to report to Amity University Ranchi, Niwaranpur. The physical presence of the applicant in the selection process is mandatory. For parents accompanying the applicants there is a separate campus tour and an interaction session is organized .

Online Interview process has been extended to the Foreign/NRI candidates only.

Answer: Non-Sponsored - Normal eligibility criteria and cut-off in admission process.

Non-Sponsored is general category for all applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria and, it is also a high merit category.

Sponsored Category- Reduced eligibility criteria (wherever applicable) and cut-off in admission process with differential fee structure.

Sponsored category is basically a lower merit category with high fees.

Request for change in category will be entertained only prior to appearing for Selection Process. There is a possibility that the Admission Committee recommends your admission after the selection process in a category for which you had not applied in the Application Form. In such cases, you may exercise the option to accept or to deny the offer.

Amity University follows semester system which is in conformity with the global practices and standards. Students are required to maintain minimum SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) & CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point average) to get promoted to the next semester and qualify for Degree/Diploma.

Minimum 75% attendance is required to appear in the examinations. Attendance of a student is calculated from the date of commencement of program or date of fee payment (whichever is later).

You may make the payment as per following options:

Option-I : Online Payment using UPI / Debit Card / Credit Card / Net banking / PaytmWallet through link available on admission microsite.

Option-II : At the university counter by Demand Draft.

** Cash or Cheque is not accepted.

If you are not able to pay the fees within the specified date due to some valid reason, you are required to approach the Admission Office. Depending upon the availability of seats and decision of Admission Committee, further extension of date may be considered.

AMIZONE is an intranet zone, student portal of Amity University. It help students in accessing a wide array of academic domains like online session plans for the entire semester, time table, attendance, syllabus, course materials etc. Amizone is updated on Admission Microsite within 48-72 working hours of fee payment.

Amity Scholarships are instituted to help those who are brilliant in academics and deserve world class education but don’t have the required means.

Answer:  1. Under “Amity Advantage Scheme”, 10% fee concession is offered to Amity Alumni, who wish to continue their higher education with AU-Ranchi Campus (applicable for pass outs of 2020 / 2021 / 2022)

Procedure to Apply:

• Documentary proof of successful completion of class 12^th/ Graduation to be mailed to Admission@rnc.amity.edu.
• Concession shall be granted based on verification of documents by Admission Department.

2. Ranchi Campus also offers direct admission to its own graduates in all Master’s programs subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for the program(Applicable for pass outs of 2021 / 2022).

SAP stands for Study Abroad Program. It has been designed to provide excellent opportunity to students of Amity so as to gain international exposure and open up their horizon to ocean of opportunities. Amity assures 100% placement assistance. In order to be eligible for the recruitment process, every student is required to achieve a minimum of 6 on a 10 point scale.

Refund is as per following Amity University refund guidelines. Application for withdrawal from the program is to be submitted through student Amizone account (www.amizone.net ). No other mode of request will be considered.

If a student withdraws his/her admission up to 15 days before the commencement of the academic session, the student will receive a refund of 100% of the semester fees and the Security Deposit after deduction of an amount not more than 5% of the fees (subject to a maximum of Rs.5000.00) as processing charges.

If a student withdraws his/her admission less than 15 days prior to the commencement of the academic session, the student will receive a refund of 90% of the semester fees and the Security Deposit.

If a student withdraws his/her admission up to 15 days post the commencement of the academic session, the student will receive a refund of 80% of the semester fees and the Security Deposit.

If a student withdraws his/her admission between 16-30 days post the commencement of the academic session, the student will receive a refund of 50% of the semester fees and the Security Deposit.

If a student withdraws his/her admission on or post 30 days of commencement of the academic session, none of the semester fees will be refunded except for the Security Deposit.

Scholarship case: If a student who is offered Amity scholarship decides to withdraw, he / she will be treated as a non-scholarship student and the withdrawal guidelines as given above will be applicable.

100% Scholarship case: Security deposit will be forfeited in case a student applies for withdrawal after registration / reporting for the program.
