Amity University Jharkhand in collaboration with the Innovation Cell (MIC), Ministry of Education and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducted an educational five-days seminar titled Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (IDE) Edition 2 Phase II from 17 February to 21 February. Professor T.G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE graciously inaugurated this event. Dr Ashok K. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor at Amity University Jharkhand, welcomed the participants and discussed the role of Amity University Jharkhand in academics, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The dignitaries who joined this event included Sh. Yogesh Wadhwan, Senior Accounts Officer, AICTE Nodal Center Head; Dr Arvind Deshmukh, Master Trainer, Wadhwani Foundation; Sh. Lakshya, Startup Fellow, MIC, AICTE Nodal Center Head and Sh. Shantanu Kailasrao Sawant, Master Trainer, Wadhwani Foundation.
Besides an exhibition wherein 34 prototypes were displayed, there were various sessions presented by Amity University Jharkhand and Wadhwani Foundation. The participants were also taken for a visit to Software Technology Park, Ranchi and Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Ranchi. More than 250 students from various institutions of West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Andra Pradesh and New Delhi joined this event.
